This glorious  painting shows the Malvern hills at sunset. Acrylics and inks have been used expressively to suggest dancing stars and dreams .My love of literature often inspires my art and it is certainly true here with the two Fairytale pieces. Shakespeare’s Midsummer’s magic came to play within this landscape of hills, setting alight the skies with a touch of magic.

The hills are inviting us to walk or to sit in the wildflower meadow, to take time to pause and reflect.

I enjoy painting the hills and like to use different colours and techniques to engage the viewer , this painting is the first in the Fairytale series.
