This painting is a different view of the Malvern hills. I wanted to show the silhouette of the hills with a more muted palette than my previous paintings.When I was travelling I would always see this silhouette and know I was ‘home’.For contrast I used bolder, richer colours with the flowers in the foreground but still keeping the calm, peaceful feel of this piece.
