After a few days walking in the Cotswolds last year , I could not wait to start this painting. Upper Slaughter is a lovely village with a stream at the bottom of the village , creamy , traditional cottages line the streets.This painting captures the atmosphere of this village , showing the stream by the lane and the hills beckoning in the background.
